2011 Season in Review
2011 was a year of ups and downs for the #49 car and team. In mid season the car suffered chronic electrical issues that caused the car to misfire and an oil pump failure at Oktoberfest were some of the challenges the team had to overcome. However, the team reached several goals over the course of the season including a hard-fought top ten finish and a team record qualifying attempt at the Oktoberfest races. The improvements and gains the team has made over this season has turned a lot of heads at the racetrack and the 2012 season is sure to see Locy Racing Enterprises in victory lane.
Family Fun Fair
This past weekend, the #49 late model was at the Family Fun Fair at the Onalaska Omni Center. Over 200 children and adults alike took this opportunity to check out the new paint scheme and sit in the cockpit of Albert Locy's racecar. Check out images below.
Off season update
Changes to the racecar are in full swing. The team is making several changes that may not be so noticeable from the grandstands, but the performance gains from these changes will be hard not to notice. Virtually every part on the racecar has been inspected and optimized for efficiency and speed. By the time the season begins in mid-April, the #49 car will be virtually brand new. Be sure to check back soon for more updates to the team and car.
